Veeps Piravi, Chief Delivery Officer
As a co-founder and head of technical delivery, Veeps Piravi brings over 20 years of enterprise software development, deployment and validation expertise to InnovoCommerce. Veeps has lead product design, development and delivery efforts in the Financial, Healthcare and Life Science industries. Prior to co-founding InnovoCommerce, Veeps was the Chief Operations Officer for Commerce Velocity, a leading Microsoft technology-based mortgage origination and risk mitigation software solution, which was acquired by a major U.S. investment bank in 2006. From the mid to late 1990s, Veeps was Vice President of Professional Services for Relsys where he was instrumental in the design and deployment efforts for Argus Safety, a leading pharmacovigilance and adverse event monitoring system for the pharmaceutical industry. During his tenure at Relsys, Veeps spearheaded global deployments of the Argus Safety product as well as global enterprise resource planning (ERP) and system integration projects in FDA regulated environments. Veeps started his career developing advanced technical solutions for Citibank. Veeps earned his undergraduate degree at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India.
Daniel O’Connor, Chief Business Officer
Daniel O’Connor brings extensive Microsoft-based software design, development and commercialization expertise to his customer engagements. Prior to co-founding InnovoCommerce, Mr. O’Connor was Technology Director for Computer Science Corporation’s (CSC) emerging SharePoint practice. Prior to CSC, Daniel was the co-founder of Zorch Software, which designed and developed Microsoft-based enterprise project management and document management solutions. Before launching Zorch Software, Daniel was the Vice President of Business Development at Workshare, a leading Microsoft-based document collaboration and change management software company. At Workshare, Daniel headed business development and technical integration efforts with leading document management and compliance vendors including Qumas, MasterControl, Open Text, First Consulting Group and Documentum. Daniel earned his undergraduate degree from San Francisco State University, and graduate degree from University of California, Los Angeles, as well as a Juris Doctor from University of California, Hastings College of Law.
Umesh Verma, Chairman
Umesh Verma has over 20 years of software development, delivery and executive management experience. Prior to co-founding InnovoCommerce, Mr. Verma was the founder and CEO of Commerce Velocity and led the organization’s spectacular growth. In 2006 the company was acquired by one of the world’s largest investment banks. Prior to founding and leading Commerce Velocity, Mr. Verma was the Managing Director of Relsys and spearheaded its rapid growth from niche systems integration to a global product company. During his tenure at Relsys, Umesh was instrumental in leading the commercial success of the company’s products and solutions. Umesh earned his undergraduate degree at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and his graduate degree at the Claremont Graduate University—Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi lto Graduate School of Management, Claremont, California.
Amit Athalye, Chief Compliance Officer
Amit Athalye is a co-founder of InnovoCommerce and technical strategy advisor. Mr. Athalye is a recognized FDA validation expert and has designed and developed FDA validated software solutions for embedded medical device applications and a leading mid-market ERP solution. Mr. Athalye was a key technical architect at Relsys and was the Chief Technology Officer for Commerce Velocity. Mr. Athalye was the core technical lead for a Microsoft-based financial transactional engine that powered more than $8 billion in financial transactions per month. Amit earned his undergraduate at the Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Mumbai, India and his Ph.D at Washington State University.
